Our styled shoot- an ethereal beauty
We love the dark theme which has swept through the current event season, with black bridesmaid gowns and dark cakes making an appearance- so we wanted to show what we at Opulence can do with that and how we made it look beautiful. Brides tend to shy away from darker tones but we love this modern style, this is how you can keep the glowing, beautiful style to a traditional wedding whilst opting for a dark, intimate and lavish setup!
Romantic pink hues were contrasted by deep wine and slate tones, which left the room with a classy and intimate air. Elevated florals and heightened lighting allows for an open and conversational table space. The use of a long, rectangular table gave an intimate feel and the table-grazing style leaves an approachable and gracious atmosphere.
Textured marble plates lined the table, along with menus and nameplates that were were printed on dark, embossed perspex. A dark cake with decorative bark and hand painted floral icing sat nestled in with the hanging bride and groom print. The cascading lights offered a unique and stylish look.
This look is just perfect for a traditional bride who wants something a little different; a little more romantic and opulent. If you love a dark and intimate affair with beautiful, lavish decorations, contact us for your next event.
